Charlottenburgh Park will reopen for day-use access and transient camping on May 17, 2024.

Located 19 km east of the City of Cornwall, at 19788 County Rd 2, in the Township of South Glengarry, Charlottenburgh Park encompasses a total of 234.7 acres of green space.

The park features a diverse environment with many types of ecosystems including white pine and spruce plantations, a mixed hardwood forest, Class 2 Provincially Significant wetlands, Lake St. Francis and its tributaries, meadows and a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) managed forest area.

The park is already located along a frequently traveled heritage highway with its accompanying bicycle path. With year round access, this site is able to offer swimming, walking, jogging, running, hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.  For those with a more sedentary agenda, the scenery is magnificent and wildlife abounds.

This site is quickly developing into a large outdoor "classroom" for school children as well as a relaxing "meeting room" or company "picnic area" for local business and a "playground" for residents and visitors alike that is unprecedented in all of Eastern Ontario.

Please note that motorized vehicles are not allowed on the Park's nature trails.
