Ready, set, camp – and cast off! The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) opened online reservations on March 2 for its 2026 camping season at Charlottenburgh Park, while its marina at Gray's Creek Conservation Area prepares to launch its 47th boating season on May 4. Both destinations offer outdoor recreation opportunities along the scenic St. Lawrence River, just minutes from Cornwall.

Located near Summerstown, Charlottenburgh Park features serviced and un-serviced campsites, a beach, boat launch, and year-round nature trails through diverse forest and wetland habitats. Daily, weekend, and monthly campsites are available. Seasonal sites have already been reserved for the 2026 season.

“We look forward to welcoming campers and day-use visitors when the Park reopens on May 15 during the Victoria Day long weekend,” says RRCA Executive Assistant, Josianne Sabourin. “We encourage campers to reserve early, as we’re expecting another busy season.”

At Gray’s Creek Conservation Area, the marina offers 127 open slips, a boat launch, parking, and a service building with gas and other supplies. Seasonal and day boaters are welcome. 

“We’re proud to celebrate our 47th boating season this year,” adds Sabourin. “It’s always a pleasure to welcome both returning and new boaters to Gray’s Creek each spring.”

RRCA’s Conservation Areas, which also include Cooper Marsh, offer local recreation and eco-tourism opportunities, promote biodiversity and habitat, and strengthen watershed sustainability and resilience. In all, the RRCA conserves and manages over 2,000 acres of environmentally significant land. A non-profit, community-led natural resource management agency, the RRCA is one of 36 conservation authorities across Ontario.
