The Raisin Region Conservation Authority’s (RRCA) Charlottenburgh Park in South Glengarry is a picturesque coastal Conservation Area providing visitors a chance to step into nature. Campers, beachgoers, hikers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts of all kinds can enjoy the Park’s 235 acres of natural habitat, varied ecosystems, and pristine amenities.
Camping and day-use access are open from May to October. Amenities include serviced and un-serviced lots, a beach, boat launch, play structure, canteen, a picnic area with barbecue pits and a covered shelter, and more. The Park’s six-kilometre nature trail system is open year-round at no cost.
The Park’s natural spaces include provincially significant coastal wetland, mixed hardwood forests, mature pine and spruce plantations, creeks, and meadows. These spaces provide habitat to a range of plants and wildlife, including several species at risk.
Please note that motorized vehicles are not allowed on the Park's nature trails. All dogs must be on a two-metre leash. Dogs are not permitted at the beach and picnic area.
