The RRCA is a participant in the Provincial Groundwater Monitoring Network (PGMN) which monitors groundwater levels and chemistry across Ontario. This program is administered by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP). Conservation Authorities are required by provincial regulation to fulfill field sampling responsibilities for the Network. The RRCA currently monitors groundwater at nine local wells.
