Got land? Plant trees! The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) offers forestry services for projects of all sizes in the RRCA watershed to enhance forest cover in eastern Ontario.
Full-Service Tree Planting
The RRCA offers full-service tree planting with significant cost savings through partnerships with Forests Canada, and ALUS Ontario East. Funding is available for up to 90 percent of project costs.
- Services include site planning, seedling purchase and planting, site preparation, and assessments.
- Minimum 500 trees to be planted.
- Trees must be planted in a definable/mappable single area and not dispersed throughout the property.
- Commitment to maintaining the trees for a minimum of 15 years.

Over-the-Counter Tree Program
RRCA's Over-the-Counter Tree Program provides residents in its jurisdiction with native tree and shrub seedlings at lower costs. The application deadline for the 2026 program was December 12, 2025. Annual Tree Giveaway
The RRCA has partnered with its member municipalities and neighboring conservation authority, South Nation Conservation (SNC), for its 26th Annual Tree Giveaway! Since 2000, nearly 60,000 free trees have been distributed throughout RRCA's member municipalities, contributing to the 1.3 million trees planted through the RRCA to date.
Please note that all seedlings have now been allocated. Residents of North Stormont: we have partnered with South Nation Conservation for your municipality's giveaway.
